Cape May Beach House is COVID-19 Ready!
We hope you and your families healthy and happy. Although all of our journeys through this coronavirus craziness are unique, everyone is dealing the best they can. We realize everyone is concerned and wanted to tell you what we are doing at our Cape May Beach House properties.
The CDC has recommendations for routine cleaning and disinfecting of rentals and provides a list of EPA registered disinfectants to use. We are using commercial products that are on the CDCs list and EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-Cov-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Our cleaning service has always and will continue to work hard to ensure stringent care is given to follow the CDC guidelines for rental cleanings.
In addition, each home will have the air HVAC filters changed weekly.
During weekly change-overs, the houses will also be treatedwith BenzaRid. BenzaRid is an EPA certified product for virucidal, bactericidal, and fungicidal performance used in hospitals and medical facilities. In just ten minutes, the area is sanitized and COVID-19 free.
To help you feel prepared, a COVID-19 Cleaning Kit that will be left in each house upon your arrival.
Our COVID-19 Cleaning Kits Contain the Following
All-Purpose Deep Cleaner
This All Purpose Deep Cleaner is one-step cleaner and disinfectant that is EPA Registered, EPA SDSI Certified, NSF registered, and fits into the CDCs guidelines for fighting the coronavirus. This cleaner isrecommended for all surfaces but should not be used in food-prep areas. The All Purpose Deep Cleaner is used in hospitals, sports venues, schools, universities, locker rooms, playgrounds, health clubs, and child care facilities as part of their regular maintenance program.
This area disinfectant has also demonstrated effectiveness fighting against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces. Therefore, this area disinfectant can be used against SARS-CoV-2.
Surface Cleaner
This product is EPA certified and USDA authorized. The Surface Cleaner is used by restaurants to sanitize surfaces, appliances and any items and areas near food preparation. This Food service sanitizer is used by bars, cafeterias, kitchens, supermarkets, bakeries, food processing plants, etc.
When used as directed, this product will deliver effective biocidal action against the coronavirus, HIV-1, Hepatitis B Virus, Staph, pneumonia, Newcastle virus, Athletes Foot, RingWorm, and more.

A disinfectant cleaner will be kept in the beach box provided. You will be able to use this to maintain the surfaces on the beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys that are there for your use.
