  1. Cape May Food and Wine Celebration 

Rated one of the “Top 100 Events in North America”, Cape May’s Food and Wine Celebration takes place between September 13th to 22nd. This year marks the 23rd Anniversary of the event. Guests can indulge in wine, beer, other spirits, and food. The festival is also home to some popular events such as Cheeses from Around the World on Saturday, September 21, Champagne Jazz Brunch on September 22, and more. 2. Beach to Brew

As featured in our interview with Harry Back, co-owner of Cape May Running Store, on Saturday, September 21st, Cape May Running Store will be hosting a 10k Beach to Brew run with Cape May Brewing Co. All 400 participants will receive a free race shirt, a customized pint glass, a medal, and a ticket for a free beer for the after party. Tickets cost $65 and the funds for this race are donated to the Surfrider Foundation. For more information click here.

3. Run the Vineyard 

On Sunday, September 22, partake in one of Cape May’s most popular vineyard runs of the year, by running (or walking) in the 7th annual Cape May Run of the Vineyard 5K. 4. Dinner at Red Store & a Full Moon Climb of the Cape May LightHouse 

Hop on the MAC trolley on Friday September 27 and ride to Emlen Physick Estate, where guests will enjoy a tasting menu prepared by Chef Lucas Manteca. After dinner, guests will be transported via trolley to the Cape May Lighthouse to enjoy an exclusive night climb to see the stars, full moon, water, and shores. 6. Oktoberfest

Kick off October right by partaking in the famous Bavarian tradition, Oktoberfest. On Saturday September 28, 2019, Cape May Oktoberfest will take place on Carpenter Lane, where attendees can expect authentic German food, music, selling tables with collectibles, antiques, crafts, and more. 7. The Taming by Cape May Stage

If you’re looking for a humourous, all-female power play, then the Taming by Cape May Stage is for you. Directed by Marlena Lustik, the play, inspired by Shakespeare’s Shrew, focuses on Katherine, a beauty pageant and political ambitious women who needs the help of an American senator to make her breakthrough. Tickets for the play on Sunday September 29th from 3:00 to 5:00, cost $25 per person and can be purchased here
