  1. The Annual Cookie Exchange 

Christmas cookies are an essential part of the holiday. So on December 3, head over to Cape May’s Elementary Cafeteria on Lafayette Street for the Annual Cookie Exchange. The cafeteria is transformed into a Christmas cookie extravaganza from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Guests will enjoy decorating cookies, making cookie bags and baskets, designing crazy Christmas hats, refreshments, gift raffles, holiday songs, and more. 2. Winter Wonderland at Congress Hall 

Happening all day, every day during December in Cape May, the Winter Wonderland at Congress Hall is a must-see for any Christmas-lover. People of all ages will love the Christmas decorations, rides on the Congress Hall Carousel and Express, the arts and crafts, Santa’s Workshop, the Christmas treats, and the enhanced Vendor Village filled with Christmas gifts from local artisans. 3. An Old-Fashioned Christmas Exhibit at the Emlen Physick Estate 

Going on every day in December, the Carroll Gallery at the Physick Estate Carriage House is displaying an old-fashioned Christmas exhibit that is free to the public. The exhibit features many holiday traditions like model trains, a giant Christmas tree, toys, photos from Christmas past, Dickens Village, and more. To learn more click here.

4. Elaine’s Dinner Theater presents “How Rudolph Got His Glow Back” 

Playing throughout December, Without A Cue Productions presents, “How Rudolph Got His Glow Back” at Elaine’s Cape May. The play follows Rudolph, who has gone “Hollywood”, and has neglected his Christmas preparation duties at the North Pole. There is talk that he won’t be leading Santa’s team this year. Will Rudolph lead Santa’s team? How will Santa make it around the world without him? Will Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves be able to help Rudolph get his glow back? Find out! 5. 46th Annual Christmas Candlelight House Tours 

Get into the holiday spirit on Saturday, December 7th or 14th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm by exploring some of Cape May’s best-decorated homes, hotels, inns, churches, and stores. Guests will enjoy Christmas caroling, strolling musicians, warm beverages, home-baked Christmas treats, and admission to Emlen Physick Estate. 6. Ghosts of Christmas Past Trolley Rides 

Treat the whole family to a holiday Victorian ghost tale, by taking a trolley ride through Cape May. You’ll enjoy the festively decorated Historic District and holiday ghost tales told from a member of the East Lynne Theater Company. Tickets cost $15 for adults, and $8 for children ages 3-12. 7. Cherry Cherry Christmas Tour 

Visit the home of Frank and Beth Acker and explore their 167-year-old private home, which is covered with Christmas decor. While you’re viewing the Christmas tree, the Dickens Village, and the dining room set with Christmas trimmings, you’ll be visited by Santa and Mrs. Claus. 8. Holiday Dinner & Bingo with Blue and the Clauses

Cape May’s Holiday Dinner and Bingo is back on Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 5:45 to 8:00 pm. Located in Congress Hall, Blue the Pig will be joined by elves and Mr. and Mrs. Claus for a buffet-style dinner and Bingo.
