Cape May Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rotary Park
Kick-off December with some Christmas-fun on Friday, December 6th by joining the annual tree lighting in Rotary Park. From 7:00 to 8:30 PM guests will enjoy Christmas caroling, a visit from Santa Claus, and of course, the tree lighting. Admission to this event is free. For more information, click here.

2. Tree Lighting and Holiday Concert at Congress Hall
Also on Friday, December 6th, from 6:00-9:00 pm, people of all ages can enjoy the 9th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Congress Hall’s Grand Lawn. This tree lighting will feature live music at 6:00 pm in the Ballroom from the Festival Choir, a live performance by local musician Major Thrice at 7:00 pm on the lawn, and at 8:00 pm the 30-foot Christmas tree lighting and singalong. Admission to this event is free.

3. West Cape May Christmas Parade
Join the annual 54th West Cape May Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 7, 2019. The parade will begin at 5:00 pm sharp at the WCM Volunteer Firehouse and continue towards South on Broadway and end on Carpenter Lane. Admission to this unforgettable event is free. For more information click here.

4. Breakfast with Santa at Congress Hall
If you’re looking for a family-friendly holiday event, then this one is for you! On Saturday, December 7, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, enjoy a family breakfast buffet with Santa at the Inn of Cape May. Children can bring their Christmas lists and will receive special treats. Tickets for adults cost $20, $12 for children 3-12, and $5 for children under 3. 5. Hospitality Nights on the Washington Street Mall
From 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, the 13th on Washington Street Mall in Cape May shoppers can enjoy special discounts from clothing boutiques, collectible stores, cafes, and more. Located in the historic Carroll Villa Hotel on Cape May’s Jackson Street, the Mad Batter Restaurant is a critically acclaimed, award-winning fine-dining restaurant. On Friday, December 13th, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm guests can purchase tickets for $75 (which includes tax and gratuity) and experience a themed, intimate dinner prepared by the Mad Batter’s talented chefs. 7. Uncork Christmas at Hawk Haven Winery
Are you in need of a one-stop-shop for Christmas decorations and wine? Then Uncork Christmas at Hawk Haven Winery is for you! On Saturday, December 14th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm head over to the Hawk Haven Winery for some live music, food, wine tastings, fire-pits, food trucks, holiday decorations, and live Christmas trees. 8. 3rd Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at Willow Creek Winery
On Friday, December 20th from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm head over to Willow Creek Winery for their 3rd annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Prizes for the most outrageous, Christmas-themed sweaters will be awarded and Santa himself will even be visiting. The event will also feature live music by Andrew Moorer, and holiday-themed performances by the Cape May Dance Company. Although the event is free, reservations for seating are strongly recommended. 9. Roller Skating at Cape May Convention Hall
Are you ready to roll? From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 21, visitors can rollerskate in Cape May’s Convention Hall. The admission fee is $5 per person and $2 for skate rentals for traditional skates and $4 for in-line skates. The Convention Hall also offers soft drinks, water, and snacks at the concession stand, so skaters can take a break. For more information, click here.
